Darien Police say they responded to a local residence on Thursday, May 9 around 11:50 p.m. on a report of a disturbance between two parties.
The victim allegedly informed dispatchers that the suspect, identified as 18-year-old Caroline Casolo, was banging on the walls of the second floor of the home.
Police arrived and were allegedly informed by the victim that there had been an argument over the WiFi password.
Police say the victim owns the WiFi and did not want to give Casolo access. As a result, Casolo started to scream obscenities call the victim names, according to police.
Casolo then allegedly went to the second floor of the home and began to strike the walls with her fists, causing damage, police say.
Casolo allegedly told police that she became upset when the WiFi password was not given to her.
Casolo was issued a misdemeanor summons for third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. She was released on a written promise to appear and was scheduled to appear in Stamford Court on Friday, May 10.
